Service Package for Foreign Students

The Service Package for Foreign Students is a contribution of the Student Union Munich [Studentenwerk München] to making our universities international. Thus we want to faciliate the decision to study in Munich and the process of settling into the new place of study for all visiting students. This is achieved first of all by the prospect of guaranteed accomodations and special support from tutors in the student residences/dormitories. These for example organize events like concert- and theater- visits or tours to German and Bavarian sights.

Foreign students can apply for the package from their home countries. It costs around 330 Euros monthly and can be extended with a health- and accident insurance as well as a language course at extra cost.


Registration dates:
• for the fall/winter semester (October - March) until July 31st
• for the summer semester (April - September) until February 28th
