Accommodations for Disabled Students

It is not easy finding a place to live in Munich and its surroundings - especially when you have a disability,  impaired vision, or rely on a wheelchair. The Munich Student Union therefore offers specially equipped rooms in some of its student residences. Disabled students can also file a Härtefallantrag [hardship application]  in order to be assigned a room in a student residence without a waiting list period. Please inquire directly at the department for

Some rooms by private offerers are suitable for disabled persons. This is not always explicitly mentioned, as in the case of  Domino Bau GmbH. Often it pays to ask. More tips are available at the  Beratungsstellen für Studierende mit Behinderung [Offices for Advising Disabled Students]
