Tuition Fees

Since the Summer Semester 2007, "Studienbeiträge" [tuition fees] are being charged at the bavarian universities for the first time. They cost up to 500 euros per semester. You can find out the exact fee by inquiring at your university:

• Technische Universität

Remember: don't confuse the Studiengebühren [tuition fees] with the Studentenwerksbeitrag [Student Union fee]! The payment of your tuition fee eventually makes its way to your university, whereas you pay the Studentenwerk [Student Union] a fee of 42 euros.
